Sorry guys.
The date for Summer bash is usually the last Saturday in June and with the USA trip so near I could get any other date.
Blackpool Bash dates for next year are:
17th -19th April. _________________ RCCGB - THE Club for trips!

Anybody up for PLEASUREWOOD HILLS in the same weekend, its celebrating its 25th year and now boasts 3(three) rollercoasters. We went last year late may bank holiday just before the newly relocated Wipeout (aka Missile from american adventure) was completed, the day was a complete washout but the cabaret in the phoney castle was awesome. Its 3 easy ticks for £13.50 (if your over 1.4 metres) _________________ life moves too fast. If you don't stop and look around once in a while, you just might miss it.

Looks like we are all up for this. Thomas with his first Scenic Coaster. Also there is a credit at Pleasurewood Hills for Thomas so looks like a weekend trip for us then. _________________ El Toro My 200th coaster and first USA coaster (Also member of roll back club on TTD 2)

Sorry about that Marcus, but nature does tend to balance itself out. There's only so much good-boss to go around, and luckily my one has more than a fair share of goodness about her
It will be interesting to see what AirTime says about the summer bash inc. travel arrangements if any. Another first for me, and now just 3 weeks to the US! _________________ Steve

Date is an issue for us also, we are off on holiday around that date so won't make it. We did Great Yarmouth last year and it was a great trip. Will be going back soon I should imagine. _________________ Steve

My family and I will also have to miss the Summer Bash as for the 2nd year running we will be on our way back from holiday in France on that day, arriving back via Eurotunnel at around 5pm...too late for the trip I'm afraid!
The only consellation is that we will have spent 2 and a bit days at Disneyland Paris on our way back....!
Won't have the same problem next year as we will have to have the holiday within the school holiday period from now on...although we have also missed a Bash which coincided with the British GP.
Hope you all have a great time! |

Well i managed to work the favour and got the 28th off. So unless it clashes with my personal stuff, i have a 70/30 chance of coming to Yarmouth now.
Must tell Carol and Debs!
The Scenic and snails in one day! ye. lol
Nev have you thought of a Joyland extra? That would be pure hell as funny. Its the best park in the UK per square meter! Snails! The tubs! _________________ www.freewebs.com/big-Stevie-b/

Much discussion and I'm afraid Paul and I aren't going to make it. With a big trip in August we can't justify the expense of a 400 mile round trip, even though we'd both like to go. _________________ Sarah

I'm making my plans for this trip now.
I'm looking for a b&b for 2 nights - does anybody have any recommendations please?
And I'm up for an 'add on' trip to Pleasurewood Hills on the Sunday. (I note if we can get at least 15 of us together we can get a group rate of £12.50 on the day) |
