This was a day we were not supposed to be able to go to but at the last minute the thing stopping us doing the whole Blackpool bash was postponed, so we did the Saturday but not with the club.
Here is the trip report I posted on the BPB Guide
Who went
Me
Caroline
also saw Graeme and Hayley on park.
We arrived at BPB to see the RCCGB having there ERT on what was the very slow PMBO and also on Infusion which was the first ride of the day for us.
One thing very noticeable was there was not loads of people on park which stayed the same all day and that there was not pouring rain like forecast, infact for most of the day it was sunny if not a bit on the cold side.
PMBO ran pretty slow all day, at one point just after dinner it was borderline as to if it would stay open as it was crawling over the return hills.
Ride count
Infusion 8
PMBO 4 (Not the same ride when running so slow)
Steeplechase 2
Rev 2
Avalanche 1
Space invader 1
Nash 8
Big Dipper 5
Monorail 1 (Great to see Thomas again, a credit to BPB)
Mine train 1
Ghost train 1
Derby Racer 1
Alice ride 1
Noahs ark 1
River caves 1
Iceblast 1
Bling 1
Total rides = 40
Highlights
- Great ride count for a Saturday
- Park not being too busy
- Nash running great again
- No rain, thank goodness the BBC are hopeless at forecasting weather
Lowlights
- Usual weekend collection of chavs and pondlife on park
- Two members of Nash staff need to watch there language, shouting "dont do that you will f*ck it up" is not acceptable.
- Yet again the day went too quickly.
So the first of 6 visits in 7 days top BPB and a pretty good start to them. |
