irst Tuesday trip of the new season and what a stunning trip to BPB it was as well. Considering that quite a lot of schools are on holiday I would have been happy with around 25 rides but to get 51 was out of this world.
My first ride today was PMBO and it was also my first ride of the season on PMBO as it shut both days when I last went at the start of thrill weekends. It was a real shock on my first ride which was on the back row just how violent the first drop was and how rough the new section of track was. The first drop was similar to how it was many years ago and the new section of track was as violent as the Ultimate, yes it was that bad!!! The strange thing was though that later on towards the end of the day I went on PMBO a couple more times and the wind had picked up a little meaning less speed going into the new track section and the bounce through it was not as bad. The only thing I can think is that on a still day and the train going at high speed it does make a huge difference.
Ride count
PMBO - 8
Steeplechase - 2
Revolution - 2
Space invader - 3
Avalanche - 2
Big dipper - 2
Infusion - 13
Grand national - 15
Ice blast - 2
Bling - 1
Rollercoaster - 1
Total rides = 51
Highlights
- A truly amazing ride count
- The weather being nicer than forecast
- The park being quieter than thought
- getting back on pmbo, 6 months without is too long.
- This years new ride staff being great along with existing ones as well.
Lowlights
- That awful section of track on PMBO, ouch!!
Thanks for reading and roll on next week for 6 visits in 7 days at BPB |

After the nash turnaround it is the 2nd hill you go up, the one around Infusion.
If the wind is up a little it is not too bad but if it is a still day then it is totally brutal in the back seat.
I have been speaking to a few people at the BPB guide about this and all have noticed the same with regards to wind speed. |

Thanks for the info. I'm quite relieved actually because I would never ride PMBO in the back. I enjoy the view down the first drop too much. _________________ Don't look at me, I'm just Human
