Is anybody on here planning to come to the opening thrill weekend at PBB on Feb 9th & 10th

There is a group of BPB guide members who will be there on the Saturday and a smaller group on the Sunday.

So if anybody on here fancies joining in with us for all or part of the day please feel free to do so.

Sounds like an interesting one to do, especially as I didn't manage to go to Blackpool last year.

They are advertising it well up here so the park could be really busy. The opening weekend last year was quiet but that was down to poor weather.

Whatever it will be a great laugh, as long as PBB get that section back in place on PMBO that is Laughing

Out of all the times I have been to Blackpool the PMBO has only been open once and that was in October 2004  Smile

I was really suprised at the time because I still had my foot in cast from an operation I had in August and they were very lenient over which rides I went on. To be fair I didn't really need the cast and it disintegrated after Valhalla and then walking down the Golden Mile viewing the illuminations   Laughing

There will be a small group of people from the BPB guide who will be meeting up for the opening weekend.

Anybody off this site is more than welcome to join us, I can vouch for the people from this forum, they are really a great bunch of people.

If you want more details feel free to PM me or just have a look at the BPB guide yourself.

Is anybody else doing the open weekend this year. Last two years were great weekends. Be great to see any of the guys there.

Going to get it in considering Thorpe`s opening weekend is not until a week later.

I have arranged to also say hello to the guys from the Blackpool Guide forum. I still have yet to tick Trumatizer as Infusion.

For anyone going to BPB tomorrow then some news that is not great.

BPB are having problems with PMBO and it may not be ready for tomorrow, they are working around the clock to get it ready but they are not sure yet if it will be ready.

Maybe they should not have left the track work and testing so late?

Yeah see you tomorrow mate.  Cool

I am starting to get a bad feeling about the opening weekend, along Monorail, Ghost train, and Wild mouse that are shut for sure and PMBO likely to be closed I have now been told that big dipper is likely to have olny one train like infusion.

Be prepared to queue  Evil or Very Mad
