A couple of nights ago we were doing the Sparrow Group MSN thing.

When all you guys make it over here we need to discuss details on , is it a night out in a club? or A private party?
Then if it`s at Rachel`s or Dan`s? Then how me and Carol can get there with you living in the sticks.

Plus need to check on when West Midlands is open? Plus will the coasters be working on those dates?

Westmidlands safari park I heard in the wind somewhere. During october all wristbands are £20 when booked online and half term week will be good to go as the park is open later then to.

I have just checked around the parks open around those dates and Blackpool Pleasure Beach opens for winter weekends on 10th November.

The opening times are 12 midday to 5pm which would give us plenty of time to recover from any hangovers and drive up there.

If anyone has any other ideas please suggest them?

West midlands looks to be open for that weekend but must 100% check with the park it was sunday the 11th wasent it. If this parks open may be easyer for some to make this park as Blackpools more a weekend then a day trip etc.

Sounds good! We'll only be able to make the Saturday as we have stuff going on Sunday afternoon, so will have to leave first thing.

Could go along to Stoke and do the bobsleigh type ride they have there?

If anyone fancies it on the Saturday and can get up to us early enough we could pop along to Waterworld in Stoke and then along to that ride.

I think Rich and Dan have been on it before so they know the one I am talking about.

Bobsled ride is of no more since the end of last year if i recall correctly. The water park at stoke is a good idea though and its very good. The last time i went to the waterpark we did the alpine thingy, march 2006 i think.

I think the idea of doing a park is probably not a good idea . . .and this may sound a little crazy, but, we can all meet up without doing a park arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh thats it, i've said it now, release the rabid dogs and track me down . . . .

The water park is a great idea Ive been there a few time and got some great slides including the coaster and a great rapids ride to. The Alpine coaster closed last year due to many munber of thing not very popular and the money to keep running it how ever the ski centre is investing into a uk first called averlanche i cant say any more.

Me and Bunnie were talking about everybody jumping into a few cars and doing Blackpool for the day.
Share petrol costs and get some rides in. What everybody else think. Plus what is the price of the park this time of year?

Anyway must get back to msn, lol, left Bunnie waiting! lol

Another idea we could consider for the Sunday is Alton Towers adrenaline week which is on until 11th November.

This is a good idea, plus it would be the final day that AT is open for the 2007 season.

Got Back from Smiler`s today and went to book tickets to Bunnie`s party at Victoria train station. We asked at southeastern rail inquiries and they gave us the easiest routes and train times.
We then went up to the advanced booking counter to try book a seat on the trains. We were greeted by a really rude foreign guy who could care less about investigating prices and alternatives for us. He was very one dimensional on times and said only one set of seats were available and they would cost me and Carol £95 between the two of us. When we asked about other ways round he was sharp and rude to us. So we walked away and decided we would leave Bunnie`s get together.

We then got back to Abbey Wood were we decided to ask our local station the same question. One the same route, 28 minutes later he found lots of seats for £10 each way. So it`s costing me and Carol £40 between the two off us for the journey. Not the original £95 that Victoria said was all they have. Strange hey?

Were up for Alton Towers again. Be great to see you all there.

Righty ho! Here are the plans so far:

Arrive at my house whatever time you want, although if a few of you want to come earlier that's fine cos it means you can help me blow up balloons and decorate the house with tat Razz

Please feel free to bring music, disco lights, naff party games!

I'm putting on some nibbles and some alcohol, although please feel free to bring a bottle (or two)

The meal at the Chinese is booked for 8:30pm, we would need to drive into town and park up so looking for volunteers to be designated drivers? Very Happy
We will meet Stevie B and Carol on the way, I think the train is due in at 7:20pm. The Chinese is all you can eat buffet and the cost is £10.99, from past experiences though they mess up a bit on the drinks Rolling Eyes but the food is very good with plenty of choice

After the Chinese back to mine for party, I do apologise in advance that there is no play park nearby Sad

On the Sunday the plan is to go to Alton Towers, I believe it is open 12 noon until 6pm. It takes about 1 hour 30 minutes to get to Alton Towers from my house so we don't have to get up too early.

I plan on doing everyone breakfast so any requests need to be made...I was thinking of bacon/sausage butties. Very Happy

Following Alton Towers anyone who wants to come back to mine again just to chill out before driving home is more than welcome, will do a bit of food for those who do want to Very Happy

I have plenty of room in the house for people to sleep I just need people to bring airbeds, quilts, sleeping bags etc. I do have a double sofa bed, and two ordinary sofas.

Any questions, just ask

Sounds like a plan! As Hayley said we'll be up around 4/5.

I'm afraid we won't be able to do the Sunday as we need to get back.
