What is your favourite UK steelie and why?

If your favourite is not on the list feel free to say which your favourite is.

I have tried to select at least 1 steelie from most of the major parks for you to choose from.

My favourite is Nemesis, quite simply the most amazing ride in the world for its size and lack of a huge first drop. An amazing ride Very Happy

Have to agree Nemesis is the only true world class coaster in the UK. There are a few OK coasters over here but generally they're nothing special except Nemmie. 13 years old and she still kicks a punch.

Nemesis mainly for the kick of adrenaline I get off every ride. If I feel stressed I can ride Nemesis and all the stress will disappear.

I like Stealth, I can keep riding it and not feel sick. And it's got a good kick.

Nemesis for me, like most have said, it is the only ride in the uk for me that is 13 years old and still as good as opening day if not better, like a good wine, nemesis has matured with age

There is no question about which 1 is my fave. The 1 the only Nemesis. Rode it the 1st year of operation and all I can say is that it has got better and better as the years have gone on. Atrue world beater.

I voted for Inferno. I think its more re-rideable than Altons Nemesis and has a cool tunnel at the start which gives you a good thrust up the hill from the front. Lovely!

This did take a bit of thinking about.

Overall I do think Nemesis has the edge - because of the theming. I did feel Nemesis Inferno gave a bigger thrill from the dynamics - and Kumali is well up there too.

But riding the front of Nemesis, and getting the full benefit of the near misses is something special. And, as proved by so many of us at this years loopathon, it's very ridable (many times)

Yeah its rideable but I do feel a bit over spun by the end of it! Something I don't think you get as much with Inferno.

I have been riding Nemesis for the last twelve years (with breaks in between of course, wouldn't want Richard Rodriguez getting miffed) and I have never got bored riding it. The theming may need a lick of paint, preferably stuff that chewing gum won't stick to, but the ride itself is amazing, definately No 1 steelie in the UK.

Nemmie, obviously, but Rage does come in second for me. The tight layout on both both coasters means a great ride every time.

I voted for Nemesis as it`s a fantastic coaster, though Inferno has to come a very close second.

Nemesis is the only one I ever had a nightmare about, though (in my pre-riding years), so I think that gives it the edge.
