The 2009 membership card came back from the printers this afternoon, so hopefully I stuff them in envelopes tonight along with your "welcome" letters and post them in the morning. You may get it in time for SAW, but if not you should have it by Monday. _________________ Andy Hine is also known as NEV!

Yes it does that a while. I have to write, then print the 'welcome' letter (a few 100 of them!). Then fold them ready to put them into envelopes.
I then have to enter the renewals into the database - delayed buy those who STILL don't put their membership number on the form! Then I have to print the address labels. Then I have to stick them on the envelopes in various piles (one member, 2 members, and so on). I then work on one pile at a time putting in the correct amount of membership cards (I hope!). Once sealed, I then have to stick on the stamps. Add to that a few tea breaks and dosing off now and then, it soon adds up! Dropping them off at the post office was easy. I did that on the way to my 6am start today! _________________ Andy Hine is also known as NEV!

Got our new cards today too. I just took a wild guess at the coaster. I knew it had to be in the USA because the train is filled with green riders _________________ Don't look at me, I'm just Human

Mine arrived yesterday - Ironically enough - Whilst I was on an RCCGB trip!
One comment I have to make about the new membership cards - Other than they look ace, as always - Is that they're not too heat resistant!
Trying to dry the ink quickly under a bathroom fan heater after writing my name on it, I wound up with a slightly warped membership card! Thankfully, careful application of more heat and a bench vice seems to have solved the problem!

I'm having a pig of a time with trying to return to paid employment at the moment due to a huge void in my CV and a shortage of vacancies...But there's nothing stopping me doing voluntary work! _________________
