Hi all
been looking at your forum for some time and thought it about time to introduce myself.
my name is paul i am 37 and have loved coasters and theme parks for as long as i can remember.
coaster count is about 120,
top woodies - el toro, six flags, scenic railway, margate will always be a top ride, lets hope she is rebuilt
top steels - nemeis (AT), front row. kraken (Sea World)front row, mellenium force (Cedar point)
i love all thing Disney - so much so I am a share holder.
I have a car off the cyclone southport in my garden, makes a different garden bench gets visitors talking too. I also have a G scale garden railway, so yes the neibours think I am mad ........they could be right
My other passion is all things railway, i also own two full size trains (not kept in the garden - at local heritage railway)
look forward to getting to know everone and joining in when i can

Welcome to the board Paul.
It's good to know that I'm not alone in liking trains as well as roller coasters. _________________ Now counting my coasters at http://www.coastercounter.com/bradpeet - which even has the snails |

Hi Paul, welcome to the board, it's a little quiet around here at the moment but will pick up again when the coaster season starts.
As a side note I notice in your location that you're from my home town Telford (although I live in Shrewsbury now) _________________ Rachel

Welcome Paul
Looks like a few of our members are also into railways and trains as well.
Glad to have you 'on board' and look forward to seeing you at an event. Come and say Hi.

I have many Hornby railways, including my first engine: Desmond (7) tank engine, The Mallard, Evening Star, Harry Potter train Set and lot's of carriages, trucks and new track.
May set them up again, if i move house in two years.
Looking forward to Alton Towers visit and hopefully Thorpe Park and Drayton Manor, plus usual visits to Camelot. Will not be visiting Blackpool Pleasure Beach for the first time in 19 years. I absolutely dispise Amanda Thompson and Nick Thompson for what they have done. BPB has been free entry to all for over 100 years and they change it, they remove classic rides (Cyclone included) and no doubt more rides will go from BPB very soon.
But i bet you won't see a B&M inverted coaster at the park, always be this Vekoma or Arrow rubbish. In my view, only one ride should be closed. The Big One, the biggest waste of money at the park. Looses £1 million per day if closed due to weather, the second drop, turn around and dips over the Log Flume area are dull and boring and what is more embarrassing, the Revolution at only 56ft has a better first drop and this was built in 1979.
If there is one thing BPB should have done, yes loose the Log Flume, but at least get a decent inverted coaster like Montu @ Busch Gardens.
