The spectators are likely to get covered almost as much as those taking part. _________________ Steve

Acording to screamscape again the coaster has gone and another new coaster is taking its place. Its a second hand coaster from another park which was called golden nuggets if that helps anyone. Ice cream challenge on the flying turns will be great fun _________________ Naked roller coaster world record holder 2004

There is a reference to a ride called 'Golden Nugget' on RCDB (see http://www.rcdb.com/document312.htm )
Although the implication in that press release is that it is going to be removed (and not relocated or sold) because the old ride was just not viable given New Jersey State regulations and Industry safety standards
I guess we will just have to wait and see. _________________ Now counting my coasters at http://www.coastercounter.com/bradpeet - which even has the snails |

This is a sad thing.
A very small ride, I don't think they could fit much else there.
Maybe they will relocate HSTC. _________________ Yankee Freeloader Pete

It has been reported that Knoebels are to remove the HSTC and replace it with a wooden coaster roughly the same size as the voyage (Holiday World) all in the same area where the HSTC stood. Nice _________________ RCCGB Club Member #1908 |

It's already been removed. There were pics on Screamscape. Shame to see it go, it was a great little coaster! _________________ 319 coasters: Steel 251 Wood 68

I wonder how they could fit a 'Voyage" size ride in that space?
The Vogage is likely 100 times the size of HSTC!? _________________ Yankee Freeloader Pete

I can see it now a new signature ride starting where hstc once stood launching straight up that mountain slope and back via a lap of the campsite with a few loops and bunnyhops |
