I was wondering that if you take lifts from your mum or dad are they allowed to stay with you for the day, and also is there any chance that i could pay the full fee for the loopathon instead of the yearly fee because it seems pointless to pay a yearly fee for just one trip. |

Hi there,
Welcome to the message board, and hopefully the club.
In most cases it is easier if you were going to be accompanied by parents that they join the club. Family memberships are available. During club trips, ERS's normally allow us entry into the park early before the public, and your parents would require full park entry tickets to enter anyway. Thus, a family membership maybe the better option so everyone can benefit from the good discounts you get on park entry during club events.
If you keep an eye on this message board, Andy Hine (club chairmain) will probably add the exact way it works for you in the next few days.
Also, annual membership runs to about February. If you joined at this late stage of the year, you would get all the back issues of AIRtime for the membership year.
Hope this helps, and watch out for Andy's response in the coming days.
Again, welcome! _________________ Matt

Thanks Matt.
Would it be £27 for each person in the family or is there a family rate? Couldnt see anything on the website.
Thanks

Hi smurf,
Every full member is allowed up to four 'associate' members for free, they are members and would be linked to your membership number, you only get copies of airtime with a full membership though, but that doesnt sound like that would be a problem, you would still be able to bring any of your family for the club rate as long as they are members (full or associate) of the club, I hope this makes sense

Thanks for answering that Barry. And as Smurf points out, it's not detailed on the website - good spot!! - so i'll get that fixed, and i'll also add this point added to the Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) page.
Cheers guys
