If I say yes, they will have someone hidding to jump out on me!
All of these rides must know when I get in the queue, so they can make it extra scary!

HELP!

Has anyone got or knows someone who has a violin that we could borrow for the Saturday night of the Blackpool Bash.  If so please e-mail me andy@rccgb.co.uk

Thanks

Andy

NOTE: It does NOT have to be a working violin (or even have strings!)

[Death wanders onto the stage, gong sounds, Death wanders off stage again! Laughing]

I'm definitely going...Got my booking sent off a week ago, and Nev's confirmed receipt of it. Just got to get around to booking my hotel, and getting a good route to Blackpool off of Google Maps before I set off! Cool

I don't know if I'll be doing the Gong Show this year though. I've had a couple of decent acts in mind for a couple of years now, but - Aside from them only being suitable for over 21's with very strong stomachs - They'd involve too much work and too many props to work as a Gong act anyway. Confused

Anyhow...I'm looking forward to my third 'Bash, and hope ye all are as well! Twisted Evil

Hi All

I've just finalised the acts for "Friday Fun" and what a night it will be!  All three (yes 3) acts have appeared on TV and the main billing was a regular Saturday night performer for weeks last summer!

You won't want to miss this fabulous night of variety!

Wow, I really am getting desperate to get the "RATTLER" involved in any subject. HA!

Ryan, lets hope there is a good doctor in Blackpool that can surgically remove The Rattler from the offending part of your anatomy??  If not you may have to be hypnotised again to try and ween you off that wooden boneshaker! Start supporting good wood like The Phoenix or Voyage. See you in Blackpool for the surgery? Very Happy

At a rough guess, I'll be rumbling into Blackpool North for around about 16:30 or so...If everything goes to plan, and I don't wind up catching the Penzance train yet again! Laughing

I'm planning to set off early that day, but I'm still trying to decide between going up the East Coast and taking the Trans-Pennine line from York (Havn't had ECML thrash in years, and the Trans-Pennine line runs through some of the most beautiful Yorkshire scenery too! Cool) and stopping for a half-day at Alton Towers on the way up! Shocked

Decisions, decisions... Rolling Eyes Twisted Evil

I sent my cheque off last week, Simon will be coming up with me but then he has to go home before the show for work the next day etc. He is gutted! We will be coming up from Manchester coz we are seeing Papa Roach there on the thursday night, so will be in Blackpool around 12 ish probably. Might do the sealife centre etc and then meet up with everyone on the pier later on.

Ahh - But remember that I've always been a major fan of the Class 370 APT-P...And the IC-225s along that route are basically the same kind of train with only one power-car and non-tilting suspension. Cool
IIRC; BR were originally going to assign them the name APT-U, until their board of directors idiots decided to go and completely screw things up for the APT project! Evil or Very Mad

Even so...I doubt that an APT-U running the ECML at maximum 140mph would be anywhere near as phun as an APT-P powering up the WCML (Full-tilt and all) at it's much better top-end of 225mph... Twisted Evil
