Tickets etc arrived for the bash this morning.  Very Happy

But somebody needs to tell Nev that there have been a few changes at the pleasure beach - the ticket office is in the Casino building now (how long has the wonderful world ride been gone from there? lol), and under Noah's ARK is now security scanners and a bank of entry turnstiles.

See you all there  Smile

I received my programme, badge and Saturday Wristband Voucher on Wednesday this week, ahead of the official closing date.  In fact I've gone one stage better, I've already written my name on my trip badge.

Just got travel to sort out now - National Express coach or (preferably) train.

See you all at the Blackpool Bash next Friday evening.

Me and Andy are just going to have a few drinks back at the Langroyd, don't really fancy clubbing and are on a budget for the weekend. Thanks for the offer though  Smile

I might be, if I'm in the mood for a different night out to my usual. Will probabally only chance Sanuk though if The Tasche (Rock/Metal/Alternative night up by North station) is shut again. Smile

He could always have the worst of both worlds, and travel by train with National Express East Coast. On the better side though, he'd at least get some nice brisk Class 91 thrash into the bargain! Cool

Are the free entry passes not valid that night? I sometimes get texts from Syndicate for free entry so if I get one you're more than welcome to it  Smile

We sell nightlife passes at our hotel. They are £5 and give you free entry to loads of places, including Sanuk. They also allow you to queue jump, some places offer free shots etc. For Coaster Club members, we are going to offer a 20% discount on the passes making them £4. They are valid for 2 nights, which makes them good value.

The Syndicate is attracting a much younger group these days....if you are under 18 then it is an easy place to get into...consequently, it is not the place it once was & Sanuk is now the club of choice for locals.

Are ye sure?...When I looked up Blackpool for Saturday on the BBC website just now, I got this:
ShockedConfused

Anyhow...Bad spells of wether aside, I'm still looking forward to it. I probabally won't be bothering with clubbing at all though as I'm going to try and wedge in a half-day at Alton Towers on the way up...Meaning that I have to catch my first train at 05:45 that morning! Consequently, I'm going to be fit for stuff-all other than sleep come 21:30 Friday night! Shocked

Anyhow...36 hours to go - I can't wait! CoolTwisted Evil

I've been to Blackpool too many times when the weather has been cold wet and nasty. You are right, it's the Bash! But good weather really does make it so much better. What is the point of an early afternoon ERS unless the park is busy   Rolling Eyes .  Very Happy

Hmmm...I've been to at least three Bashes prior to this one, and by my recollection we've always had good weather at the very least! Cool

If ever we got a right old stormer coming in though, we could always dig out our swimming trunks, shift the ERS over to the Sandcastle opposite, and have our first ever Blackpool Splash! Very HappyCoolTwisted Evil

Anyhow...Assuming that I manage to wake up around 03:00 tomorrow and don't get too badly held up leaving the house, I should hopefully be catching 1H09, 1H11 or 1H12 from Euston to Stoke tomorrow morning to do a half-day at Alton on the way up. If any of ye are using the same train, come over to Coach B and say hi! I don't bite...Much! Twisted Evil
