On Sunday May 10th, myself and my intrepid colleagues will be at Oakwood rasing money for Great Ormond Street Hospital. This will be my first foray into charity riding    and I will be joining some seasoned riders for the day who will hopefully guide me. Amazing things happen at Great Ormond Street Hospital every day and the money raised is crucial in helping them continue with this great work. Weather forecast at present says it will be a pleasant day, high of around 14C only 10% chance of any precipition...hooray Shame I can't make the camping this year , would have been great to have some fun the night before! My 5 year old daughter Cara is even digging into her money box and giving me £1 and this was without me asking her! Was a pleasure to do it and had a great day. Had a right laugh with the guys i did it with. Was painful at first and then you learn to ride it and where to take the bumps. Was more like an intense work out.
