^ - Should have a restful and relaxing weekend after a busy week
< - Was so tired and achey last night after working all day and then walking 4 miles home (in boots) I crashed out at 10pm and have just woke up. My bunion on my right foot is throbbing though after walking in boots

^ - Doesn't seem to do too well on nice walks, although will benefit a lot from them if she gets into the habit of doing them regularly!
(Trust me...I used to walk the five miles between Yateley and Blackwater twice daily for two years, and it's from that which I take my ability to walk long distances at speed! )
< - Is currently staying with a very close friend up in Derbyshire, and consequently hasn't had much time for surfing the 'net recently...

^ - Could use some help moving house. I would offer to help, but - Aside from Shrewsbury being a bit of a commute from here - It's likely that I'm going to be having a major clear-out of my own very soon, too...
< - Has come to the conclusion that - Like a Magpie - He's all too often attracted to "shiny" things, and that's probabally one reason why he never stays on task.
Conclusion: Let's get rid of all of the "shiny" things around here, and see if that helps!
< - Knows that the above will (Probabally) mean ditching most/all of his computer equipment and Internet activities as well, but doesn't want to lose all of the "volatile" data (A good 8Gb worth) that he's crafted over the years.
Should I get rid of all of my PC equipment and do the job properly, or should I keep one machine around for video playback and swapping out data from my MP3 player?
V - Has similar data management problems to myself, but gets along with a secure and effective data archival procedure. |

^ - Might want to leave work, spend 1-2 weeks packing, and then move? It'd probabally be much easier than doing it all at once!
< - Is planning to get rid of his computer "heap" soon, and keep only 2-3 machines for regular tasks...Once I've done that, I'll have managed to seize half of the bedroom from the clutches of the encroaching Legions of Chaos!
< - As part of a self-management thing that he's thinking of trying, may soon start using a PC with just a mouse on it. Although it won't stop me doing the odd Twitter post, it'll nerf forum usage as I'm darned if I'm posting using the Windows OSK!
V - Dreads to think what I'd be like had I adopted the Mac insted of the PC... |

^ - Which Grand Prix? The "Official" one by Formulae-1, or the new one that McLaren and the other teams are setting up?
^ - Would be much better off with proper broadband, and should see about getting BT, Sky or Virgin Media broadband (I recommend the latter) in her new place.
Dongles aren't just slower than normal consumer broadband, but the bandwidth limits and overcharges are much more constrictive too...Even BT give their customers 10Gb+ per month on a standard plan!
(If ye would like my advice on broadband and how various services and technologies differ, then please feel free to ask me! )
< - Knows FAR too much about computers...Yet still managed to crash Firefox four times this afternoon!
V - Still uses Microsoft Internet Exploiter for their web browsing! |

^ - Thanks Colin, I'm only using the mobile dongle during the transition of moving house, as soon as we move next Friday Virgin Media will be coming round to activate the already installed line
< - Is watching the build up to the Grand Prix today after a very productive morning of packing up, not much more to do now
v - Thinks I should enjoy a nice glass (or bottle) of wine when all the packing up is finished |

^ - Aye, ye should. Also - If ye already have thy cable modem and PIN there, and thy cable line is active - Ye should be able to activate thy own broadband using the set-up CD provided.
(VM Cable connections use the modem MAC address to identify the customer and their access rights...So once ye have an active line, the modem and PIN, the CD and a length of co-ax to hook the modem up to the cable point with, ye should be able to activate thy broadband using just thy laptop and a length of Cat-V network cable! )
< - Hopes that Bunnie has chosen VM's cable service and not their ADSL one...The cable service is great (Provided one runs nothing heavily DNS dependant!) but their ADSL wouldn't differ from that of any other provider.
V - Currently uses either Bee-T (The one kind of Bee that can sting ye repeatedly!) or Prices-as-high-as-the-Sky Broadband for their Internet access! |

< - Spoke to his other half on the 'phone for a little longer than intended, and it looks like he's now - Despite his "Talk Unlimited" call-plan - Going to get chinged full whack for a 65 minute call. Thanks a bunch, Virgin...

< - Thinks that Bunnie should take those leaving cakes in as planned, but only if she remembers to include a healthy dose of crystallised Hydrogen Cyanide* into the mixture when she bakes them! * - Better known as Zyklon-B.

^ - Is wrong again...Given that I'm staying with my other half again, I could be regarded as currently being on holiday!
< - Is tired, hot, sweaty, and - As soon as he's figured out how to get the benefits of a double-deck train to fit inside our very restrictive size limits - Will no doubt concentrate his thoughts to shifting Earth a few feet further away from the Sun, somehow...
V - Shares my rather warped view on atomic sciences, and also believes that the nuclear fission process needs only a few spare Hydrogen atoms and a sledgehammer! |

^ - Would've got there quicker by rail...
< - Is currently having a late night up with his other half...Reformatting, reinstalling, and updating almost everything on the family PC!
I wouldn't normally mind long-haul PC fixes like this...But we're having to straighten up a system that hasn't been cleaned up in over six years, has already swallowed over 40 Windows updates this afternoon (Including two full service packs!) and still has a ton of software to be restored!
We tried to get going well with a 17:00 start, but it's looking like it'll be a very long night...

< - Couldn't make the RCCGB event alas...But myself and a number of anarchists took a trip down to No. 10 with some practical weaponary for a "Summer Bash" of our own!
Unfortunateley, Gordon Brown wasn't willing to be the "guest" of honour at our event, so it had to be cancelled...

^ - Has been very quiet both here and on Twitter recently, and has had me worrying that something ill had befallen her!
< - Does try and plan, book and pay for as many of his Club trips as far in advance as possible. Although I'm still investigating options for getting to sOakwood next month, I actually bought one of my train tickets for Loopathon yesterday!
< - Wouldn't normally buy an Advance train fare as he hates being stuck to specific trains...But when he saw that Virgin were offering him a seat from London to Stoke for only £4.95, he just couldn't let that deal pass him by - Especially as it means that he'll get to spend an hour and a half experiencing pure Pendolino thrash, something that he enjoys a great deal!
V - Will be driving themselves up to Loopathon...And will probabally regret it when they're stuck in a huge stationary tailback on the M6 around Birmingham way, then catch a momentary glimpse of me flying straight past them at an unfettered 130mph... |
