Good news - extra seats sorted on the flight, extra coach sorted on the ground, extra rooms sorted in the hotels, and parks don't mind anyway, more the merrier where they are concerned!
So what that all means is - all 84 of you who have sent me a booking are going on the trip!
Confirmation letters and contracts will now be printed tonight and I'll get them in the post tomorrow.
Please complete and return as soon as you can. _________________ Andy Hine is also known as NEV!

Hi folks, got me forms today, two questions:
1. how/where do I specify I want to pay the single occupancy supplement of £230? At a guess, I would say mention in the Additional Traveller bit...
2. It says that "you are more than welcome to pay any installment at anytime from now" does that mean that I can send a single checque with the remaining balance?
Cheers,

Hi
In answer to your questions:
1) Just include a note with your contract (due to increased size of group "single rooms" are subject to availability, as in some hotels we may need every room!)
2) Yes you can pay the full remaining amount, anytime from now (on one cheque). BUT, if you don't, you must pay the next instalment by January 30th)
Quick update - there are now 87 members coming! _________________ Andy Hine is also known as NEV!

I still can`t believe I`m finally going to ride coasters in America!!
Forms have been Posted!!!!!!! £100 raised - £1200 to go!!
I still can`t believe it!!
What a shame we won`t all be on one flight. I could imagine the mayhem we would cause the poor stewards.
I still can`t believe it - Pinch me, someone, please!!
Hmmmm - 87 of us?? Not many rides during the ERS`s then!!
I still . . . . . (you know the rest!!)
Back seat of Voyage, Ryan?? Hmmm, I don`t think so!

Just a thought but if we are struggling for rooms in some of the hotels, why don't you get two single occupancy members and put them in the same room....problem solved....I know I know ....pure genius..

Don't you worry about that! You'll get plenty! In fact at Cedar Point they usually run 3 trains during the ERS's so thats 96 seats!
And on the Voyage, you'll be needing a recovery rest between rides! _________________ Andy Hine is also known as NEV!

Err yeah, thanks for that suggestion. That would solve everything. In fact why don't we go one stage further and put all of the single room requestees in one big room! Yet another problem sorted! _________________ Andy Hine is also known as NEV!

Nev might correct me here coz he has the figures but I think we had over a 100 people on the trip in 2001 - nearly two full coaches. Now that trip was a logistical piece of fun. Back then we used 747s where poss and I could get us all on one flight. Now we use 777s and as this has a smaller cabin I have to split up the group. But we all end up in the same place so no probs. _________________ The Guru will see you now. |

Steve,
When the club used to go every other year we would get over 100 people, now we go every year the last few trips have had about 50 members on each trip |

Well done to Nev and EVERYONE for sorting out flights, hotels, buses etc - great job!!
Can't wait to go to all these parks again - particularly Holiday World and Indiana Beach - will be my 3rd time at both of these - they are fab!
And it will be great to notch up another few rides on Voyage - awesome woodie - I rode it 30 times on opening day and many more since - the Gravity Group rock!
And Ryan - I can't wait to ride Shivering Timbers with you - I'm a Michigan virgin!!!!! This is going to be a highlight for me - I have wanted to ride this coaster for years.
Look forward to seeing all the regulars on tour and all the newbies as well - you'll have a great trip. _________________ Official member of TTD Rollback Club 08 May 2006 and 13 June 2008

You wont be dissapointed and I too can't wait to ride the Voyage again this coaster just ticks all the boxes (just like the "RATTLER"

***** PINK CONTRACT ERROR *****
On the pink contract it says all monies to be paid by March 3rd.
That is a slight typo and the final installment is MAY 3rd as stated on booking form and confirmation letters.
Sorry! _________________ Andy Hine is also known as NEV!

Sixth club USA trip, can`t wait. The Voyage and Shivering Timbers (my personal goal) on the same trip. Can`t wait to go back to Holiday World and try out the water park this time. Plus going to Cedar Point in a much more relaxed fasion this time. Water park and dozzy wonderings this time.
Cheers Nev. _________________ My Site www.freewebs.com/big-Stevie-b/

Contracts sent off. Thanks Nev for arranging it all. Like Stevie says I too can't wait to visit new parks and get to ride new coasters (inc. the acclaimed Voyage and Shivering Timbers).
Another visit to Cedar Point is long overdue as it will be 2 year's since my first and only visit and I've still got to go on MaxAir, Power Tower, Wicked Twister and Maverick! Magnum XL, Millenium Force, TTD and all those other great rides are so worth going back for.
Being more settled in riding coasters and drop towers and such than I was as a newbie, everything will be all the more enjoyable now. Bring it on! _________________ Steve

Oh yes - drop towers.
I seem to have lost my fear of them - so probably won't be sitting them out anymore.
(Was at Edinburgh Dungeon yesterday - their finale packs a punch!!!) _________________ Now counting my coasters at http://www.coastercounter.com/bradpeet - which even has the snails |

Cedar Point should be easy to do all if it don't rain like it did last year. The rides are quick and loading and leaving the stations. _________________ Memeber of the 08 Top Thrill Rollback Club + Member of the "First to be denied SAW by Technical Failure" club.
