Febuary half term will soon be on us so if any one would like to meet for these dates feel free to come along be great to see everyone again for the start of the 2009 season.

Alton towers Thursday 19th (Due to me mum going to the Alton spa)
Notice theres no Nemesis on the list this year

Selected attractions available every day from 10am - 4pm include:

Oblivion, Hex, Doodle-Doo Derby, Tractors, Riverbank Eye Spy, Berry Bish Bash, Dung Heap, Singing Barn, Squirrel Nutty Ride, Spinball Whizzer, Runaway Mine Train, Duel, Blade, Air

Thorpe park Friday 20th (Also one or 2 dates before but this one 100% confirmed)

Noticed Stealth is not on the list to. Thats 2 majour rides one at each park and none of them open this year even tho they were both open last year.

Cant make the Alton date but will be at Thorpe after work on the 20th Feb

As both dates are in the week its a no go for us, got minimal holiday days left and I need to save them for a few appointments.

Saturday the 21st may be the Euro fair weekend in Birmingham thats why I kept that weekend free just in case etc. If the Euro fair is on that weekend then will let you no.

Be great if you guys can make the 21st sounds like the best day for the event. Is anyone intersted in the ice skateing or sea life centre in the morning as the fair dont open till 1pm. O and pizza hut for lunch Very Happy

The ride list at Alton is imo a very weak one for adults but good for young kids.

6 hours at Alton with no Nemesis and no Rita and with only really Oblivion and Air for thrill seekers Sad

***Update - Nemesis will be closed as they have found some issues with it that will take longer than normal for the ride to be ready for the new season***

Don`t take Steve Caine to Pizza Hut first though. I`ve done that at the Hyde Park Fun Fair before lol. Big mistake. MASSIVE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last year they had the mouse, booster, superbowl, log flume, afterburner, waveswinger, dodgems, carousel......there may have been more but can't remember.

I can clearly remember the little kid coming off waveswinger and being sick!!

Itl be danters mouse which is the smaller of the traveling mouse styles with the blue track.

All the stuff there is either danters or wilsons stuff

Anyone wishing to come on these days then Alton towers (Tomos) were be there for opening time at 10. Thorpe park on Friday just after 10 as we didnt need the whole day there last time. Euro fair we are all meeting by the big gold bull at the bull ring in Birmingham at 11:30 from here its a massive take over at pizze hut then Euro fair. Be good to see you all there.

We sometimes find the odd space opasite the site which is on street parking and free but there are tons of car parks around Birmingham which are all walking distance from the fair.
