What is Adventure Island like?I could possibly be going to Adventure Island in Southend soon, but I've never been before. I have a few questions for those who have:
Would you need to spend a whole day there? Or would half a day be enough?
How long are the queues usually?
How busy is it likely to be during the summer holidays?
What is Rage like? (I've never ridden a Euro-fighter before.)
Are all the major rides likely to be open?
I think that's all I want to know at the moment. More questions might pop up in the future.

Re: What is Adventure Island like?I can answer a few of these:

You could probably do it in half a day but I think there is enough to entertain you for a whole day.

The first time we went was befor ethe summer holidays during the week in july and most rides were walk ons. The only thing with this is they wait for a partially loaded train, so ideally you'd like it to be a little biusy but noe insane.
The second time was a hot saturday a few months back, and all i can say is insane. You could not move for people and we only spent a few hours riding.
What is Rage like? (I've never ridden a Euro-fighter before.)
I thought Rage was very good for its size and the size of the park. Its a very compact layout and isn't a long ride but we founf it a fun ride.
Are all the major rides likely to be open?
We've been twice at different times of the year and generally everything has been open. If your going in the Summer i'd say everything will be running.

Rage is a great coaster worth the trip down there. The ride operates with 3 trains sometimes so well good with the ques etc. A great little park even if it busy worth the trip on the longest pier in the world right on the park.

Thank you for replying! It takes just under 3 hours to get to Adventure Island by train from here, so I'm glad Rage is a good coaster. If it wasn't for Rage we probably wouldn't consider going. We get free train travel too.
