USA 2009 - Final payment

Hi everyone on the USA trip.
ERS's are gradually being sorted and we will start big!  Laughing

Just a reminder that the final installment is due on March 2nd so if you haven't yet sent your payment please remember to before the end of the month.  Many thanks.

Make sure you have a passport! (in date).

And if you haven't yet e-mailed me your authorisation to travel please make sure you do that soon.  No authorisation mean no travel!  (US government rules!).

Andy

Just got off the phone to another park having sorted another ERS.  Thats 6 now, with loads more to come!
I've sorted a few lunches too  Very Happy

Don't forget to send final payment if you haven't yet.

And

Don't forget I need to know your 'Authorisation to Travel' number.

And

Send back your T-shirt order form.

Thanks

Andy

I`m praying for the free breakfasts and lunches at parks to keep me going for the two weeks.

Free food is good and beer is great. As for T Shirts I am in need of a new set of draws to keep them in as mine is full.
Clare said I am limited this time as 2 weeks.  Laughing

Hi

Last couple of days to put cheques in the post.  Please send your final payment now if you haven't already done so.
I'm busy stuffing the Yearboook in envelopes next week so I don't want to have to start contacting late payers!  Very Happy
Thanks,

Andy

Oh dear, the deadline was today and 4 people are still showing as no payment!  If your payment does not arrive in the post on Monday, expect to be contacted Monday evening!  That gives you 2 days to come up with a full grovelling excuse as to why I shouldn't give your place to the first person on the wait list!  Razz

Trip Tip Guide and rooming list just posted (to all but the 4 who have yet to pay the final instalment).  Expect phone calls later!  Evil or Very Mad

No wonder I never make the list for any of the USA trips! Laughing Wink

Of course, I'm only kidding there...Although I'd like to attend one, the cost of the USA trips is normally wayyy above my reasonable budget. Although I know that Nev allows us to pay in installments, I have a practice of paying for such things in full as soon as possible both for easier accounting, and so that I can then save up spending money for the trip. Cool

Incidentally Nev: One thing I have given some thought to is doing a USA trip on the same kind of booking normally used by American members, as it'd allow me to choose cheaper flights or working crossings by sea, and allow me to mitigate the main bulk of the cost of the trip.
Is this kind of booking available to English members, and would ye still be able to factor in my share of the bus hire and hotel accommodation - I.E: Trip fee minus flights and associated expenses?
Based on this years trip fee: How much would the fee payable come to? Twisted Evil
Andy Hine MBE

I always do a non-flight option so that our American Members can join us or if UK members are flying out early or staying later.  Depending on the route, it can get you a discount of around £400-£500.  However it is the responsibility of that member to be at the Bus pick up point (at the arrival airport) at the same time as the main group arrives, as we can not wait for individuals.
coaster-andy

I have my trip book. I don't now my room mate or I may do and not know it  Laughing
Also Clare do's not like the times she has to be at airport to pick me up which should be fun at 6 in morning leaving on outbound and 5 30 on inbound  Laughing
bradpeet

I got my trip tip guide and rooming list too   Very Happy  - and I do know my 'share' Smile

I'm not sure about the times coaster-andy is quoting though.  It says we need to be at terminal 5 for 7:30 am on the way out.

And we are not due to land until 6:55 am.  I'll be amazed if we get through baggage reclaim and immigration in less than an hour.

Details details fella. Anyway, they were all called Ride of Steel at some point.

Anyway, if you've ridden one on the Darien or 6F America ones, surely you can say you've ridden the other. Wink
coaster-andy

They are all a new coaster for me I don't care Ride of Steel. Superman Ride of Steel or Bizarro it is still a coaster  Laughing
