Thorpe Park See Mass Brawl Break OutThe family fun theme park Thorpe Park was turned into a war zone. This happen when a massive brawl broke out between as many as 40 youths from two rival groups. Just this past Tuesday in a court room, people listened to the case.
The police and the security staff intervened to stop the disturbance, but when they did they were punched and spat on. Right now Reginald Osei, age 18; Saffron Crossdale, age 18; and Michelle Lewis, age 33, are all on trial at the Guildford Crown Court and charged with affray, along side a 17, 16, and 15 year old - all of which are not allowed to be maned due to legal reasons.
The security guard, Alexander May, submitted evidence and described the terrifying scene just before 7pm, which is closing time for the theme park. Alexander went on to say that about 40 to 60 black males came running toward the door. He said that he then heard a lot of shouting and saw someone being punched. Although he said that he feared for his own safety, he started yelling at all of them to get back.
Jurors went on to hear how the manager of the park, Mandy Johnson, stepped in after a fight broke out between a 16-year-old and a number of others. The prosecutor, Alex Williams, went on to say that, as the woman went to separate the kids, she was punched in the face by the 16-year-old kid, who was the main instigator of the violence.
However, the 17-year-old also punched the woman in the face and was seen doing this by one of her colleagues. He was running in and throwing punches. The staff did eventually manage to separate the kids and were all escorted outside as the police arrived.
The court also heard how the boys pushed and spat on the cops as they arrived. All of the boys have denied affray and the trail continues.
