Thorpe Park 24th feb

Well I thought it was time to take a trip to Thorpe need a coaster you see. After all bad press which I read I thought this would be a bad day but must say it was amazing. Not to cold but the queue lines were quite.2 trains running on Stealth, queue never got pass 5 mins. Nemesis Inferno not above 5 mins either. This was great for riding the rides. Everything which they said was working was and I saw no down time today. Are Thorpe trying to make days out enjoyable. Noticed Rush was still down, The Fish was down to and Thomas was not happy he was asking for 2 days if he could go and ride it. Thomas is only 3 for those who don't now.

The Fish or Fishey as Thomas calls it. Is his No 1 coaster. The longest queue all day was X/ No Way Out. But disabled pass fasttraks that part. But it was a nice day.

They would have even longer queues if they built a great woodie like the "RATTLER" Laughing

We were also there yesterday. It was a real contrast on last week as the queues were so small. All major rides were walk on most of the day. Managed to do quite a few front rows as the queues were that short.

X was a bit longer as they were only running a few shuttles. It also seemed like they had added a new spinning light. But still the ride experience is naff.

Also had 24 goes on Steath whilst its quiet. Had a cople of real slow goes but still seeking that elusive roll back! We even had a breakdown in the straight before the last corner into the offload. They didn't shift the second train quick enough so we had a bit of a laugh with the attndent waiting for the Engineer.

Overall a real good day and a continuation of the bright happy service and tidy park approach we seem to have this year.
