Fort Worth Star-Telegram (Fort Worth, Texas, USA)
The 18-year-old, 4,920-foot-long (1,500-meter-long) wooden roller coaster will close in 2010 for a year-long renovation. It will reopen for the Arlington theme park’s 50th anniversary in 2011. Six Flags CEO Mark Shapiro said the company is planning on launching major attractions at all of its 20 theme parks in 2011.

Good news about the renovation work, however I am not sure how they can say they will open something new at every park in 2011 when they are not even sure at the moment if the company will see the year out

To be fair Texas Giant provided a blindin ERS in 2003. Seeing sparks flying off the wheels was cool. That was the first time I ever felt a coaster was completely outta control and being pushed to it's absolute limit. Shame it was pants during the day.
Now if only one of those sparks flew South and set fire to a certain bonfire that is still being used as a ride in another Texan Six Flags park.

Hmm!
where do I start?
What a waste of money to spend on the great T.G.
How can you improve on perfection?
Maybe they will re-profile it to ride just like the "RATTLER"
Whay! Hay!
