Rollercoaster Riding PreferencesWhere do people on here prefere to ride rollercoasters?
Are you a front seat fan who prefers the unobstructed views and being pushed into elements?
Are you a middle of the train fan, do you like the smoother ride the middle brings you?
Are you a back seat driver, do you prefere the thrills and spills of being the last one down the drop or through the elements?
Personally the back seat is the one for me, I love the intesity of being dragged through the ride rather than being pushed through the ride like at the front. For back seat thrills the only thing that could beat Nemesis back right seat was back left on the old PMBO firstdrop, painfull but fun

I went for Front Seat as so many rides in the country are excellent at the front, for example:
1. Nemesis Inferno - Being at the front through the tunnel and being pushed up the hill.
2. Air - Front Right and look right on the turnaround by the car park makes you feel like you are flying.
3. Stealth - Is actually good front or back but the track ahed of you at the front is just cool!
4. Colossus - Has to be the smoothest ride at the front.
Just a few but there are so many more.

I also prefer to ride in the front.
If I sit on the back row of some rollercoasters I find them to intense especially Nemesis, I hate the feeling I get from it.

Some coasters like PMBO and Megafobia I prefer the front, but others like Nemesis (both) Colossus and Shockwave I prefer the back. Stealth does'nt really matter to me where I sit.

With inverters I like to sit at the front. With rough head-bangers like Corkscrews or rides I'm not sure about, I go about 3 seats from the front and with much-loved rides like Pepsi Max, I love the back seat.

I have voted front.
On some coasters it is a definite preference.
Nemsis - Alton Towers, because it is the supreme theming which sets that ride apart in my mind - and you get full advantage of that at the front.
Stealth - I was surprised just how much more intense that was at the front. Mainly due to rushing through the air I'm sure, with nothing in front to deflect the flow.
Velocity at Flamingo Land - I just loved the feeling of seeing the track in front of me.
Rita - the back every time. The launch feels the same in all seats - but being pulled through the elements in the rear seat just makes it much more fun for me.
On a strange coaster - especially one that looks scary - I will usually ride it towards the front although probably not at the very front seat. Repeat rides depend on the experience though - but I do like being pulled through the elements on a coaster that is not too rough. (I still want somebody to tell me how to ride Colossus without getting my ears bashed though)
