RING RACER

Is you watched the German Grand Prix today you will have seen the new 0 − 134.8 mph in 2.5 seconds S&S roller coaster that runs along side the start/finish straight.  It is due to open soon, but if you want to have a computer generated early ride, check out this link:

Fingers crossed I'll be able to report back what it's like next weekend. I'm relaibly informed it opens later today. The rest of the park will open in August, but the coaster will run from today on.

Even on coasters the 'stig' gets pole position.

Looks a great ride. I'm sure it will get pole position.

looks like an interesting ride Smile

Sadly it's still not got TUV approval and is only running at reduced speeds for testing until August. Only staff and engineers are getting to ride it, no members of the public.  Looks like I've got to wait till next year to ride it, when it will no longer be the World's fastest coaster.

Oh dear, it's been delayed again. Seems they wore some of the parts out during testing and are now awaiting delivery of replacements.
