Review of the yearWell it's the end of another coaster season and I finished in with a memorable ride on Colossus today. As I was going down the first drop I thought here I am on the last ride of two thousand and Ow Ow Ow Ow Ow!
I'd thought I'd post my coaster highlights and lowlights of the year:
Highlights:
5) I finally got to ride Jubilee Odessey and it was much better than I expected.
4) I got a roll back on Stealth
3) Riding the Ultimate in the rain
2) Riding Nemisis in the rain at Loopathon
1) Riding Megafobia in the rain at Megamania
Lowlights:
5) Believing someone when they said Infusion is much smoother than it was at Southport.
4) Jimmy Godden suffering another of those mysterious fires
3) Waiting 90mins to rin Knightmare at Camelot and then getting to ride it during a hail storm (Ouch!)
2) The staff at Flamingo Land are terrible (even though everything else about the park is fantastic!)
1) Aside from the above experiences the weather has been terrible.

We also were at Thorpe for final day, I thinks its been one fo the better days to the season. Ok Stealth was shut but the staff actually seemed friendly and the rides most had short queues all day!
I can't think of any low lights, but lots of highs, here are just a few:
- Also getting to ride Jubilee Odyssey and Millenium Coaster at the first time of asking!
- Going to two more European parks for the first time
- Getting a new favourite coaster; Superman at Parque Warner, Madrid.
- Getting to 18 new UK parks, with 44 new coasters
- Probably the best ERS on Megafobia
I'm sure I've left out lots but theres a few!

2. Adding all those ticks on the America trip
3. Seeing spinball whizzer roll back well funny
4. Best ERS on Megafobia
5. Last couple of riders on corckscrew
Low lights:
Big Steve getting to ride the Go gator coaster at MY local fair which ive been trying to get on for years but he comes along for one day and gets on grrrrrr

Sorry Rich lol, to be honest i had forgotten i ever mentioned it. 
My highlights of the year.
1) Smiler taking Vicci to the Blackpool Bash for me and me finding somebody through the club.
Then Nev being my cupid and throwing a carrot  at Vicci at the Bash show, making her mine and fall in love with me lol. Plus going to Nev`s leaving bingo bash which is where me and Vicci got together.
2) Doing the 2008 USA trip with more of my normal club friends.
3) My day at Drayton Manor with Vicci.
4) Finally getting to Coney Island and New York just before the park closed.
My Low-lights.
1) Friends not being as happy for me in finding Vicci. Gossiping and creating false rumors instead of being happy for us. Sad as i really loved everybody and felt let down.
2) Letting myself down and Vicci by reacting at the wrong time in the wrong way. Luckily we grow with every mistake and Vicci has made me see a lot of things in a new way.
3) Richard not being there to ride the Chelt Go Gator with me

I made a massive oversight in my review of the year. How could i forget about the Magna experience? That was a day to remember for life and a reason to avoid the Sheffield area in general.

Ive not really had a great year some major issues at work lead me too being really ill with serve depression as a result, i kinda lost a year of my life 
still i did enjoy the states in June and loopathon and the peak stones experience,fright nights at Thorpe where good, also Steve and Hayleys birthday bash, the isle of white( RIP Barnabee) Hayling and that kids place with the burns to prove it 
Looking forward too Thorpes new coaster,the Usa trip in June
Italy and maybe Japan also looking forward to doing Vegas again,next year and my first Blackpool bash
Cant wait too share some great coasters next year with some great friends

hiya guys and girls
These are my highlights and some lowlights of 2008 (including a non coaster re-lated lowlight).
1) Blackpool Bash - Riding on my favourite rides and a new one - infusion and being with my coaster club friends and meeting some new ones as well. My favourite part of the bash had to be seeing the ukraine crew doing the performance not once but twice in the evening and even joining in at times in my booth where i was videoing the events of the evening. Another highlight was meeting up with my Blackpool friends John and Jane who own and run the Langroyd hotel (a very good hotel and i recommend it to everyone).
2) Loads of trips to thorpe park as usual
3) Trips to Legoland Windsor too
4) Oakwood was great as usual (even if the weather was not at its best) and also getting onto the campsite on the friday evening to see everyone and to get a taste of the atmosphere
5) having a great day at alton towers with the club.
Lowlights of the year
1) Not being ablt to attend the Drayton Manor day with the club as i was off to eurodisney paris on that day (had a good time anyway)
2) Ending off the year by being made redundant by the company i had been working for the past 3 years.

Highlights
All club trips, as always. great mates and great rides.
A decent amount of trips to Thorpe Park, 3, I think
Getting to Alton Towers more than once in a year
The Charity ride on Megafobia, such a great ride for an event
Finally got a rollback on Stealth, and a near miss
Thomas land at Drayton, fantasic area and a new coaster for me
Brighton Pier open, and the noodle grabbing Sea Gull
Chickening out on Super Booster at Brighton
Decent rides on Samurai
Lowlights
X:/ WTH, nearly did a rib on one of the brake block thingies
Seeing Saw complete, but not being able to ride it
Thinking all the time I will never see Corkscrew at AT ever again, R.I.P

Flying a Tiger Moth and doing an aerobatic flight

In the water with elephants in India - washing them etc
Buying a brand new MX5
Lowlights 2008:
Having a knee operation which hasn't worked!
Buying a new camcorder and braking it in a theme park after only 6 months

It has to be my first USA trip it was amazing and short.
