Ravine Flyer IIAll I can say is WOW!!!!!! This is without a doubt Gravity Groups finest work to date. Think of Voyage style AIRtime mixed with Boulder Dash style terrain coaster with the uniqueness of crossing a 4 lane highway. While the front is great for checking out the views over Lake Erie and of course seeing where you are going, the back gives mega amounts of stand up AIRtime. It's incredibly smooth and the sort of coaster you can sit on all day.
It's been a couple of years since a coaster last left such an impression on me, and it's changed the top 5 of all of us over here.
As for the rest of Waldameer, well it's very much like Knoebels. Free parking, free to get in and very good value for money. There are lots of old classic rides, including a junior woodie, a lovely Maure spinner and a couple of old school dark rides.
The park maybe a little out the way but it's so worth a visit, Ravine Flyer II is a MUST ride coaster.
I'll be writing a more in depth article with behind the scenes info that will hopefully end up in AIRtime.

Sounds like you and your clan have found a little gem of a coaster there, Magic. Hope your trip is going well and look forward to reading your article in Airtime.

I agree with you Magic that Ravine Flyer 2 is excellent although Voyage is still my top woodie. The park was very quiet today so we had a great take-over on it. All seats were good and it was very re-rideable. An added bonus was the seats were very comfortable and (unlke Hades), the lapbar doesn’t bolt down tightly half way round.
A great time was had by all
