PBB v Alton TowersWhich of our two biggest parks in the UK do you have a preference for and why?
My favourite is PBB even though for me the best ride of the two parks is at Alton Towers in the shape of the awesome Nemesis.
My reasons for favouring PBB are as follows
- Amazing selection of rides, you are never ever bored and wondering what to do next, if a Major ride at PBB is shut then there is plenty more to do, if a major ride at Alton is shut then it does imapct your day.
- Woodies, Grand National and the Wild Mouse are amongst the best in the world.
- Unique rides and traditional rides, steeplechase and derby racer to name but two.
- PBB at nightime, who needs the illuminations when PBB is lit up, it really is a beautifull sight when seen from high up on PMBO.
Two great parks both with advantages over the other but PBB gets the nod from me, how about you

I would have to agree with you CoasterGraham, i prefer blackpool over the two parks mentioned, however like yourself my fave ride is also Nemesis which is at the Towers.
Blacpool has had alot of cosmetic improvements over the recent years but with just a few more it will be awesome.

This was actually a really hard choice. I have good reason to like both places Alton has a really good selection of modern rides and have been a leader with cutting edge technology in the past. Where as Blackpool has the charm of what all seaside parks should aspire to be and have a nice collection of historic rides. I think the lack of modern rides prehaps is why Alton shades it, but that is before a trip where Infusion has been running so could change.

That is a tough one that like Steve said I go along with. I love both parks and used to do both of them always as a kid and fell in love with them both but Blackpool just scarped it for me.

I've thought long and hard about this one, and have to say I like them equally. BPB has the most fantastic woodies, all of which I love (even the dreaded Wild Mouse), but Alton Towers has Nemmie, Air, Oblivion and Rita. I just can't choose between them.

Too hard to decide, so I did'nt cast my vote. Both parks have great rides, but PBB does have WOOD.
I love them both.
