Oakwood owners shopping spreeIn a move that reminds me of Merlin, Aspro the leisure industry company that is buying Oakwood have just bought the Blue Reef Aquarium chain. The chain consists of 4 aquariums in Tynemouth, Hastings, Portsmouth and Newquay.
This purchase has doubled the size of Aspros UK presence. The Spanish company now owns 37 attractions in 7 European countries. Their main brand is the water park chain Aqualand.

They also own another great water park in Salou. Aquapolis, well worth the visit if your ever over at PortAventura.
