looks like its going to be a good ride, yet another visit will be planned for next year now.

It looks simular to Speed at Oakwood.

Wow that does look and sound fun.

Just received an aerial view of the layout of the track from Maure Sohne, along with some more details from a press release.

Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit touts six near-miss moments and first-ever thrills including a record-breaking loop.  Ride vehicles feature the brightest and most innovative color changing LEDs in the world.  High-energy visual displays fill the queue line.  With up to four ride vehicles on the tracks at any given time, and with concert lighting and special effects mixed in, Hollywood Rip, Ride, Rockit will be a true high-intensity, multi-sensory experience that is unmatched.

Guests can customize their ride experience by choosing what song will play while they’re on the roller coaster.  LED boards in the queue lines will display song options from five genres (classic rock, rap, country, pop and disco).  Once on-board, guests can choose their song or let the coaster’s digital sound system choose for them.  When the ride is over, guests will be able to customize footage from their experience and compile it into a take-home music video.

Looks to be a nice ride. If Speed is similar to it, then I'll get my first go on that in just under a week.
Auntie Murial

I believe it will be more similar to G-Force at Drayton Manor.
Magic

Yep, same style trains as G Force, only with on board multimedia. It doesn't have the lift hill loop with the Humpty Bump roll either, instead a vertical lift into vertical drop into the World's largest non inverting loop into a custom layout. Basically as it goes up the loop it does an inline twist so you crest the loop the right way up, then it does a twist as it goes back down, again leaving you the right way up.

So this is an extra pay attraction? Being that it will be part of City Walk? Or come out of the Studios?

Think i`m interested in another Florida visit next year. Be cool to do this, plus reminded by the original posts link that the Blue man group is in residence at Universal.

Even though it goes out into parts of citywalk i believe it will actually be part of the Studios park, isnt the station behind the Jimmy Neutron ride?.  I could be wrong though, do you know anymore Magic?
Magic

It is part of Universal Studios park, as Muriel says the entrance is near Jimmy Neutron. It does leave the park and goes across the water that's part runs alongside City Walk.

The onride video will be pay extra. You can even direct the video choosing between off ride and on ride cameras. You can then either email the video or buy it on DVD.

Full details will be announced at the Maure Sohne 15th anniversary event at the end of September. So not long to wait.
