New memberJust wanted to sat Hi to fellow members from a coaster enthusiast in Warrington.
Have been aware of the RCCGB for some time but have finally got round to joining.
Have been fortunate to visit several parks in the USA and just wish we had the range of coasters in the UK that they have over the pond.
Hope to get to an official event at some point. In the meantime am looking forward to a forthcoming holiday in Sept/Oct and Dec 2009 with trips to Six Flags Over Texas, Universal Florida, Busch Gardens Florida and Seaworld Orlando booked.
My favourite park is off course Cedar Point followed closely by Six Flags Magic Mountain and my fave coasters are X2, Top Thrill Dragster and Millenium Force.
Would love to ride El Toro (looks wicked) in the future.

Hi there
Welcome to the club, and the message board! I hope you have a great time in the club and join on one of our trips soon!
Blackpool is a great club trip event if you can make it, and you'd get to know loads of us as it's a whole weekend of fun and coasters.
Welcome aboard!

Welcome to the Club. When did you join? Did you not go to SAW-Ted at Thorpe Park last Saturday?
The Blackpool Bash will be Friday 17 to Sunday 19 April. I suggest you attend that event. Its booking deadline is 11 April, so you've still time to register for it if you've not yet done so. The form is available on the main site to download. Blackpool Pleasure Beach has some good coasters:
Pepsi Max Big One: at 235 feet tall, it's a steel hypercoaster
Irn Bru Revolution: it has a vertical loop, you go forwards, abruptly come to a halt and go back.
InFusion: an inverted steel coaster, originally located at Southport
Grand National: the only Mobius loop coaster in Europe - a woodie
Big Dipper - a woodie with loads of AIRtime at the back
Wild Mouse - another woodie, I hope that's working this year (it wasn't at last year's Blackpool Bash, so I haven't rode it yet), but some members seem quite keen on that too.
Roller Coaster - a woodie, rumoured to be SBNO this year, not sure whether or not it will be operating at time of this year's Blackpool Bash, that too is worth a go if it is running (we'll have to wait and see).
Also we have entertainment Friday night and Saturday night in the Paradise Room. Last year was my first ever time of attending the Blackpool Bash, and I thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it and now wholeheartedly agree with Nev's statement "If you can only make one trip this year, make it this one".
Enjoy being in the Club, and I hope to see you at a Club trip one day, perhaps even the Blackpool Bash next month.
