MAN UNITED

well done to the mighty reds ,what a game .hope your not to gutted john and jane. Laughing

We did ourselves proud. Although we did not get going until the second half, we created more chances and were unlucky not to win it in normal time. We really feel for John Terry - and penalties are cruel way to lose, but such is life.  Sad

I have to side with the Chelsea Camp. I feel they did more in the 90 to win the game but just couldn't finish it off. I think Joe Cole had a massive shout for penalty/free kick right near the end when Ferdinand tried to take his head off. Its funny the ref had given loads for high foot through out the game.

Didn't rate the 1st half but the rest of the game was a good watch. Penalties is such a cruel fate but its got to end somewhere.

The local rag has quoted a "Man u source" as saying that they are considering parading the cup along Blackpool Prom. This is because the Manchester police are not going to let it happen there after the Rangers fiasco!  I don't think it will go down overly well with the locals though - we certainly don't want them here!! (Mental note to oneself: I MUST remember to order extra eggs this week!)

The first time I have ever not wanted either side to win  Laughing

I don't like the clubs, players or fans of both clubs other than Paul Scholes who I admire as a player and a great role model for others. So for him I am very pleased he has got what he deserves.

Whilst there are lots of valid reasons for not liking someone, solely on the basis of the team they support does seem a sweeping generalisation. As for Paul Scholes, we thought he got what he deserved too - and we were glad Claude Makelele gave it to him!

respect to the blue half of manchester... it does seem a shame that a load of drunken Rangers fans can spoil the party for everyone else, hopefully a compromise can be reached.
