Lets hope they do the same for Walt Disney Studios Paris, although I doubt it.

I have never been to the Disney in Paris. My wife has and she says that after going to WDW it is not worth touching as it would be such a letdown for me.
Is that a fair comment do you think?

Disneyland Paris is OK and worth a visit. The Studios next door are severely lacking in attractions, specifically rides. Although the recent addition of Turtle Twist and the soon to open Tower of Terror should help. But in general the parks need a massive 1 off E Ticket that you won't see anywhere else. Something on the scale of Cars at DL.
If you go expecting it to not be as awe inspiring as WDW then you won't be disappointed. If you go expecting it to be as good then you'll be upset. It is worth going for a long weekend though.

The problem with Disney is they have copies of rides throughout all the parks. Like Magic mentioned Tower of Terror has been used more than once. Somethink unique would be needed, especially as you can goto orlando for the same price as paris in some deals.

I have to agree with you there. I would rather go to Florida than Paris. I went a year before they opened Disney Studios in Paris and the staff were incredibly rude, most of the floats in the parades where looking a bit shabby.

I went to 'euroedisney' the year that it opened. (yes - I know it is not called that anymore)
It was fun at the time - but basically only equivalent to the Magic Kingdom, so obviously on a much smaller scale than the one in Florida.
However, one thing thst stuck in my mind, is that the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad there was very well themed. I rode the one in Florida last year, and felt it to be a let down in comparison. (And I checked the facts - the Paris one is considerably longer)
Also, the cars show that has been running in Paris for a few years now (I can't remember its name) has proven so popular that it has now been replicated in Florida.

When I went to Disneyland the Space Mountain had techinal problems wich was very disapointing, appart from that there wasn't very many rides which were family friendly, but with the new attractions they should do well.
