How is this for busy?

Today the attendance at Cedar Point could reach a mind boggling 60,000 people

Apparently the cars have been queuing all the way down the causeway to enter the park!!! They are even shutting one of the four lanes for car parking as all overflow lots are full.

The queues are TTD 150mins, Raptor 105 mins, Millenium force 180 mins and even Cedar creek mine has an hour queue.

This is a combination of a big event and some lovely weather.

Take a look at these photos of a very, very packed park.

That is just insane.  Fantastic day for the aprk but an awful day for the guests i'd imagine ?   However saying that there dont seem to be many unhappy facesn the pictures.

I think people accept that you have to queue at the point and just get on with it.

The good thing there is that the queues do move very quickly unlike some queues in the UK and they play some great music in the line to keep you amused.

I hate queueing as a rule but for those truly amazing rides I would break that rule.

Especially if a rental car. I would have to park near something I could remember.    Laughing

The official figure was 58,000  Shocked

The biggest line was 150 mins for TTD and Millenium force.

No major breakdowns, everyone left happy and did not get stuck in the parking lot at the end of the day.

If only Cedar Point could teach our parks a thing or two about how to run a park!!

Chances are you will probably get told where to park and have no choice in the matter !  Lol !    Maybe tie a flag to the aerial with your name on it !  lol

I was at Legoland Windsor yesterday and within 10 minutes of the park opening the queue for the rapids was out the queue pens, up the hill and into the main courtyard area at the very top. Dread to think how long that queue was, certainly no fun with little kids.
