Actually Sunday 30 September 2007 and Tuesday 30 September 2008, I went to Devon's Crealy for my birthday outing.  I paid a visit to Flambards during my Cornwall Holiday each year 2002 to 2008, but those were in early July except 2008 which was early June.  This year though, I did go to Flambards on my birthday, as part of a 5-day holiday in Cornwall, which I've decided to call Ride Slide Go Cornwall 2009.

The weather was dry all day, with a sunny spell in the afternoon.

Yes, I'm working on it now.  In fact I'll do a report of all five days, one post per day.

Thanks for your reply Helen, when you replied, the first two days were already up.

At last all five days are up.  This time I've done each day as a separate post, and the outtro as a sixth post.  My birthday outing to Flambards and the rest is there for you to enjoy in Nemesis Nick’s Ride Slide Go Cornwall 2009.

No, I didn't have a waterproof pen and paper with me whilst there.  At Carn Brea Leisure Centre, I just remembered how many lengths I swam and how many goes I had on the flume, then at first opportunity after leaving (on the train to St Austell I think) wrote it down in brief on my notepad.

As for Oasis at Hendra, they have three water slides, one red, one green and one blue.  To make it easier to remember, I religiously stuck to doing them in a red-green-blue sequence, to make it easy to remember the correct multiples of RGB, with my one session in the pool itself in the middle.  Again, I remembered it whilst in the pool area and jotted it down on my notepad on the bus back to St Austell.

It was when I was writing this report afterwards that I went from the "in brief" version on my notebook to a full version.
