Flamingoland removing Circulator

Rumours abound on a flamingoland forumt hat the circulator ride (aka terrorizer) has been packed onto a truck and is due to appear at New Pleasureland next season.

Its a shame as far as I am concerned as it is one of my favourite rides at a park I do go to while new pleasureland is not one I plan on going to at anytime in the shorterm

New Pleasureland is a poor park at present, I can't see this ride making me want to visit Southport again in a hurry either... Any news on what Flamingoland will replace it with??

I've not been to Flamingoland, has anyone got a picture of it?

Here's one better Steve, got an off ride video:

I remember this being really painful on the shoulders when I rode it last year, also gives you a real unpleasant head rush.

I think they have got one at Great Yarmouth Pleasure Beach called Evolution and it once got stuck upside down Confused

I loved this ride. Slow and painful with an amazing light head inducing element. They also have one at Camelot.

From what is being mentioned at the moment the replacement will be another flat ride but no word on what type yet.

Also the park are undecided on if to keep the wild mouse rollercoaster or if they should put it up for sale.

Rumour would surgest that in 2009 they will put in a family coaster and maybe just maybe a woodie in 2010.

Thankfully Camelot have one of these evolution rides like the circulator so I wont have too far to go to ride one of these devices of torture Laughing

Oh the pain! We rode the Evolution at Great Yarmouth, all I can say is ouch!

Circulator is one of my claim to fame rides.

When it was first put into Flamingoland as terroriser I was on the very first ride the publc had on it.

I once had a 15 min ride on a very quiet day at flamingoland, great fun Twisted Evil

After Slammer and the Mondial topscan the evolution rides are my next favourite, I like twisted rides Twisted Evil

I am just a twisted nutter to be honest, I mean the 75 rides on the wild mouse in one day pays tribute to that Laughing

It would now appear that Circulator is going to go to Pleasure Island and not Southport. What a shock that is, cleethorpes getting an old flamingoland ride Wink

Whats the odds on the Wild Mouse following it to Pleasure Island...? They could use another coaster at Pleasure Island.

Circulator WILL be going to Pleasure Island, as it is Flamingoland's sister park.

I think its a shame that the Flamingoland company only really see Pleasure Island as a park that should get its cast off's.

I know that there has been money spent on a few new attractions but a lot of rides did once live in Flamingoland
bluea61

Wasn't this the case with Blackpool and Morecombe?
