Disneyland log flume new height rule

Theme park review have reported that to be able to ride the front seat of the log flume ride at Disneyland you now have to be over 60 inches tall (5ft).

It would appear that some children have been ducking at the splash and getting hurt in the process.

So do you think Disney are making a wise move or are they overeacting?

I can understand the reasoning behind it, I remember ducking down on the original log flume at Drayton Manor Park and injuring myself as a result.

They aren't stopping people under 60 inches going on the ride, just stopping them from sitting on the front seat.

If it stops kids getting hurt then I think it's avery wise move. It's perfectly natural to duck and avoid the splash so it's not like the kids are doing anything unreasonable, so to prevent them getting hurt the height restriction is needed for their own safety. If they don't get hurt they'll enjoy their day at Disneyland more.
