corkscrew replacement?

Considering the fact he added that Corky had been open 20 yrs when we know it is 28. Also unless I see wood on site and erected I will not believe that Alton will get wood.

There was a video on the BBC News website with Russell Barnes stating that the new ride that will go in Corkscrews place will be a world first

A launch Woody into a 100ft hole/ tunnel with a chute the chute water section.  Laughing

Then again look at Google Earth or Windows Live Maps and there is some well big space there with Ug Swingers going. Also I heard somewhere that B & M have a new coaster design. May be a B & M launch Woody Steely hybrid.

I have read somewhere that B&M are to announce a new type of coaster concept in November......oh wait, it's November now  Very Happy

I suspect B&M will make some kind of new product announcement at this years IAAPA exhibition in Orlando. From memory it starts next weekend so hopefully we might get a clue as to Altons future plans by the end of next week.

I have done the one similar over in Walibi Belgium, so it's not all bad. The worst thing is I saw it operating but chickened out, must have been 1995-6 because Nemesis was there.
