"Thrill Engineer Brendan Walker and his team of Technicians put Blue Peter presenters through a series of scientific experiments to see if they have 'the right stuff' to become Thrill Laboratory guinea pigs, to be tested onboard some of the UK's most thrilling theme park rides."

Tues  24th March 4.35 - experiments at Thrill Laboratory (7 mins)

And here's one we rode earlier, made with an old cornflakes packet, a toilet roll, 8 pipe cleaners and some double sided sticky tape. I hope you like it children, you could try giving it a name too. We've called this one "The Rattler".

Woohoo!!! It's been ages since i've watched Blue Peter.

Can I point out that the Rattler did not use double sided tape - that would have made it far too smooth!  Laughing  Laughing

HAHA great post, my fellow meridian TV region friend.

Watched it with interest, wonder how the test results would compare if one of us guys did it.

Was good see which coasters they used, Colossus, Rage and Kumali. Scientifically the most thrilling ride for the guy riding was Rage.

Would be interesting to see how Rage, Speed and Saw compared in terms of excitement/fear.

Rage is smother than Speed & Saw. Saw is more thrilling (when it works)

My order would be
1 Speed, no limits
2 Saw-the ride
3 Rage.
But Saw would come first just for the themeing alone.

I remember back in 1988 when Yvette Fielding and Mark Curry went on the Iron Bru Revolution at Blackpool and were absoultely terrified.
