Chessington - 12th October 08Had an absolutely brilliant day at Chessington yesterday with Steve and Hayley, thanks again Steve for letting us stay at yours, the suprise on Hayleys face on Saturday morning when we arrived will stay with me for a while 
We got to Chessington yesterday at about 10:15, however it took Steve and Andy until about 10:30 to get me and Hayley out of the car (well we were having a nice chat)
Headed into the park for the first ride of the day on Dragons Fury which was brilliant, we span well on that. We did it again later on in the day but with not so much spin.
Then off to Billy Whizzer where Andy and Steve got soaked and me and Hayley stayed nice and dry, then onto the bumper cars.
Did Dragon Falls twice during the day, I think Steve wanted to get a photo of this one but due to a few 'special' moments the opportunity passed us by.
We did so much during the day its so difficult to remember the order of everything, so here's a brief rundown.
Dragons Fury - 2 times
Billy's Whizzer - once
Black Buccaneer - once
Seastorm - once (was enough, made me feel a bit ill)
Bubbleworks - once
Vampire - 3 times (running well)
Dragon Falls - 2 times
Tomb Blaster - 2 times
Rameses Revenge - 1 time (extended as ride op ran both settings)
Runaway Train - once
Rattlesnake - 4 times
We also had lunch in the Mexican Diner which was lush, except we missed out on the meal deal cos someone wanted a hot dog *cough*andy*cough*
The weather was gorgeous all day and I have to say that Chessington has got to be by far the friendliest park I have been to, the staff were so nice and seemed happy. Hello to Benin who was operating Bubbleworks

Glad you had a great time at Chessington. Wasnt the weather fantastic too. I agree with what you say about the staff at Chessington, they are the best.

We had an excellent day at Chessington. As Bunnie said the rides were running great, the weather was awesome, and the staff were the friendliest of any park at the moment. We even got a bonus half hour in Transylvania, although the circumstances were not the best. I hope the lady is doing well.
I hope the institute didn't mind Andy being back a day late!
For me I think the best ride of the day was probably Rattlesnake complete with Hayley and Bunnies impressions of Otters on Helium!

We came out of the Vampire/Bubbleworks shop and an elderly lady was sat on a wall being supported by her family. Hayley went to try and help and it looked like she was going to pass out, looked very uneasy. They called an ambulance and shut Transylvania for a while to get her out. I think she had oxygen etc, so looked really serious.

Oh I really do hope she ended up ok. Sad to see when it happens, I bet she was quite embarassed too, i know my Nan was once when she felt really faint at a supermarkert once.

Ahhhhhhh she probably just saw how much they charged her for her on-ride photo . . . . seriously though, i hope she was OK.
