On Sunday four of us did a charity marathon day on Megafobia at Oakwood. Raising around £400 for Muscular Dystrophy Campaign.
Thanks to the park management and the ride opps for everything and the guys who came along to support us.
Also cheers to Andrew Patterson for organising the event with the park and the charity.

Congratulations to Andrew who scored 104 out of 104 rides in just over 7 hours.
Myself who scored 102 out of 104
Andy Knight who scored 100 out of 104
and Amy Tinson who scored 37.

Well done Andy, Steve, Andy and Amy, you all did so well! I certainly could not spend 7 hours on megafobia! You all did brilliantly!
I am sure the charity are very pleased with the £400 pounds you raised!

I had a fantastic weekend and it was so nice to see everyone again! The weekend just went so quick!

Well done you guys, you all did brilliant. Andy you are the man for lasting all day without getting off, Andy K and Steve you guys did great 100 each must have been a killer. Also big well done to Amy managing to do 31 despite feeling really ill. You should all be proud of yourselves.

It was a really great weekend as usual and we had a great laugh. Felt really relaxed if not a little achey when we got home. They were some silky football skills, just like brazil. Are you still feeling tender Rich?!?!

Well done to the four charity riders: Andy, Big Stevie B, Andy K and Amy, you all did really well, proud of you all  Very Happy

Had a great day in the park with the rest of you guys.

The football skills at the campsite were top, we won!!

On Sunday night we found the local pub, The Iron Duke and I gave Andy, Andy Knight and Adam a good beating at Pool (as if  Rolling Eyes ) and we were entertained by the locals.

Miss you all, thanks for a great weekend xx

Hi everyone. Due to me spending the rest of the week touring Wales, and getting another coaster tick, just a brief one.
Thanks to Andy P for organising the event and for getting every train. Thanks also to everyone that supported us, I did'nt expect so many to turn up.

I thought Amy did 32 rides - before she asked me to substitute??!!  Confused

So really, with a little help from me (riding AS Amy!!) you could say she managed a grand total of 98. It`s a real shame she felt ill, as I`m sure she could have made the 100 as well (if not more).

Either way, the money Amy raised was well deserved. (As all of them actually)

Shame I missed out on the `Iron Duke` experience - darn migraines!!  Sad
At least I was in a `midge-free zone` inside the tent where I was hiding my citronella bug repellent. LOL

Ah the midgeys! I still have the bites!
Coaster Toaster

I still have the bites as well. Counted about 15 of them lol

Well what a good couple of days we had in Wales.

From the football (dammit at the fact our team lost!), to the BBQ and our 'fortress' on the Saturday. Was all good fun at camp...except from those stupid midgies!!

Really enjoyed my few rides on Meggie, unfortunately I only did over 30 as feeling ill (had been feeling funny since the summer ball on the friday before), however well done to Andy, Steve and Andy for completing the whole day, you did really well guys and sorry for leaving you!
Also thanks to Dan, Rach, Tall Steve, Hayley, Nix, Carol, Rich, Adam and Pete for making the rest of the day good fun and making me feel better about stopping!!
The pub meal was also good but those boxes were very suspicious hehe!!

So overall a good weekend, and really well done to the charity riders and for raising money!

It's a real shame you only managed 12 laps, Stevie B did say those pork pies would be the downfall of the whole event  Laughing

Roll-backs!

Some of the group had roll-backs, some even had 2 or 3! Sadly Rough Rider Ryan still didn't get one, even though it is his third year of trying and we even sent a train up with just 6 people in it to 'force' a roll-back!

Oh well!  It's all over now and in a few hours we will be heading home to the UK!
