what would the charity be... could we have a say in which it could be...
i'd be interested if we could do some thing for Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (DMD) is a heartbreaking disease. Children begin to see their muscles waste away and families struggle to cope with the diagnosis and day to day management of this condition. Young men die early in late teens or are left wheelchair bound and unable to move unaided. The hope for families lies in new treatments that can slow or stop DMD in its tracks.
Parent Project UK Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy (PPUK) is the only national Charity that exclusively funds research for a cure and promotes campaigns for better medical care for Duchenne and Becker Muscular Dystrophy
you might have seen a program about this on channel 5 the other week, i personnaly watched my cousin the same age of me waste away till his passing
i think it would be a worthy cause and i'd be up for raising some serious cash for it....

If the park is VERY quiet, they will run Meggy every 6 minutes
So the minimum of rides will be 70
So hopefully it will be BUSY, resulting in more rides

Andrew has suggested Fleeces for the Oakwood Charity Riders event.
Out of sarcasm i suggested making them sheep coloured. As in a sheep fleece. Then put Charity Riders on the back, plus an Oakwood logo. Then Oakwood Times on the front in small.
Matching fleeces all looking like Welsh sheep could be funny.
I know Andrew has started looking into costs of producing some but at the end of the day, its to make money for the charity and not waste it.

I have sent for a quote for the fleeces, I would estimate a cost of around £25 per fleece, the more ordered the cheaper it will be, if you are interested please PM me or post here ASAP.
