So last week Kings Dominion announced Intimidator 305, a 305 foot tall Intamin Mega Coaster. This week Carowinds have announced Intimidator, a 232 foot tall Speed Coaster from B&M.

Personally I much prefer the look of Carowinds Intimidator, it may not be as tall but the layout looks more promising and it won't have over head restraints like the Kings Dominion version. To me the swift direction changes of KD combined with over heads will possibly make for a painful ride.

I agree Marcus , the layout looks superb and sure there'll be bags of airtime on the B & M version. I hope they make a good job of the theming too, also suprised its taken so long to produce a NASCAR themed coaster !
