Bungee JumpI was given the bungee jump for christmas just gone by amy as i had mentioned whilst looking at extreme sports that could be fun to do lol.
Started off with a nice early get up time of 6:30 ready for our drive up to sheffield to magna to be more precise.
We got there about 9:45 after a good drive up even if it did seem long.
They let us in at 10 and went to register my jump only to be told when i had to go through the doors and they will kit me out. My jump was ment to be 2:30 lol.
Went through and got kitted up and headed up to the top of the building, which was 148 ish steps i think. When i got to the top i was the second one up there.
Whilst up there about another 4 people came up and we got talking about how high up it seemed to be esp at the half way point.
Then the 1st perosn jumped and we all went what are doing up here and other stronger words came from other people up there lol.
I was then called up for my jump and got told the low down as in count down then jump.
Before i knew it i was at the edge with them saying when you hear bungee jump dont hesitate and jump out trying to reach for the beam.
Then the count down started 3 - 2 - 1 think i jumped before bungee lol but i had dpne it with out second thoughts and you could feel the air rusgin past your ears for a few seconds before being wrenched back up and down again as i slowly got a head rush whilst being lowered back to earth.
When i was down i got showed my photo with the option to buy it and given my certificate stating i had done the only indoor bungee jump at 160ft.
After we sorted the bungee things out we went to explore magna its self and what a great little place it was we found loads of things to do in all 4 places with a fair few laughs to be had as well. I would reccomend a visit for people if your up that way as its in an old iron or steel works factory.
Would i do a bungee jump again i think i would, would i be any less nervous no i dont think so.
If you get the chance to do one take it as its very diffrent from the fairground reverse bungee and sky diving.

Congratulations on completing your jump...it's a great rush isn't it. When I did mine (almost 20 years ago!) it was from a crane in a school ground on top of a hill......main thing I remember was thinking 'I must breath' as I was falling. Was offered to do again straight away for 1/2 price but as I was so breathless I declined....wish I had done it now though!
I agree with Dan, if you get the chance take it
