Blackpool Pleasure Beach - Sat 17th November

Back home after what in truth was the first disapointing trip to PBB this year which I suppose is not too bad when you look at it properly.

The main problem was a low ride count due to bigger ride queues than expected. A lot of rides had queues between 10-30 mins.

The park does look really nice with Christmas trees dotted around and you can see that PBB has made a good effort for the winter weekends.

Our ride count was

Infusion - 4
Grand National - 4
Alice Ride - 2
Derbey Racer - 1
Ghost Train - 1
Noahs Ark - 1
Valhalla - 1 (last ride of year- feet are still frozen even though at home now Sad )
River Caves - 1

Total Ride count = 16

Highlights

- Grand National Flying Very Happy
- The park looking really great
- Infusion staff again on top form
- Alice Staff great - Thomas and Roman great blokes
- Keith Allen on a litter picking mission near Valhalla Laughing
- Meeting a few fellow members of the BPB guise forum, these guys are really great people and the forum is well worth a visit

Lowlights

- Busier than expected
- Quite a lot of chavvy kids on park
- Nash breaking down after we waited 15 mins and would have had front seat.
-Staff on Nash just saying "everyone out" to people when ride broke down, a bit more politely put and a reason might have been nice

Hopefully next Saturday might be a bit quieter

I'm sure the christmas trees look pretty dotted around the Park is it great that it is open at weekends during the winter months, although it can get very cold up there.

It was dissaponting when I went there last as it was raining which meant I couldn't get on a lot of the rides.

I am suprised it was busier than you expected especially at this time of year and I agree with you that the staff could have been more polite rather than just shouting everyone out ! when the rides broke down.

The BPB forum sounds good. i will have a look at it .

I wonder if we would get to meet the fellow members at the Blackpool Bash which would be a bonus, as I going to try and come.

It is an excellent forum for all who love things PBB or just like the place.

The debate is always interesting and never gets silly or abusive towards one another and they are a great bunch of people as well Very Happy
