Blackpool Pleasure Beach - 9/2/08Back home after the first of many trips to BPB this season.
Overall it was a mixture of good and not so good but in the end the day was better than I had expected it to be.
One thing that was great was to see such an amazing turn out of the BPB guiders today and for all the admin and mod team to be there as well on the same day.

Highlights
So many people from the guide being on park, plus stevie B from the RCCGB (nice to meet you mate)
The woodies absolutely flying along for the first day
The park not being as busy as expected
River caves takeover and randomness
Some nutcase on the steeplechase who overheard me and Ash talk work (Tesco) asking if Tesco design towers on there stores with auchwitz in mind
Lowlights
PMBO shut all day, not sure when it will reopen.
Problems with the seats on one train on infusion.
Space invader and Avalanche shut for a good part of the day, other rides having quite a few problems as well.
Nash staff shutting ride early, again Naughty
The news that wild mouse may need a couple of months work before it opens again.
So all in all a pretty good day, great to be back and great to meet up with friends again
