Blackpool pleasure beach 10/2/08Here is the trip report from today I posted at the BPB guide forum.
Well thats the opening weekend at BPB over with Sad
What a great weekend it was as well, as you could see from the reports yesterday was a great day and so was today as well.
We arrived on park at 11:20 to find the nash already open so obviously that was the first ride of the day, after that we did infusion before a queue started to form, which it did have a 20 min queue for most of the day.
Ride count
Nash - 6
Infusion - 2 (a few problems with restraints to work on over the next week)
Big dipper - 7 (still rough as nails)
Avalanche -1 (only one train on all day)
Revolution - 3
Bling - 1
Steeplechase - 1
Gold mine - 1
Alice - 1
Derby racer - 1
Noah - 1
Flying machine - 1
PB Express - 1
Rollercoaster - 8
Total ride count = 35
Highlights
Great weather, is it really February?
Park not too busy
Great ride count
Red train on nash flying, the other trains very good as well.
Rollercoaster rideage at end of day, just like the infusion stampede all over again
Lowlights
Nash having tech problems about 40 mins before rides close, again Naughty Staff should learn to say words like please and thank you rather than just shouting out "everyone off"
Some stupid chav jumping onto the dipper as the train was leaving station, people like that mean one day there will be airgates.
A few too many chavs on park for my liking.
Overall a great day and a great weekend spending time with some fantastic friends, great to see you all again
