Alton Towers Resort LogoHere is the new logo that will be used at Alton Towers to try and give it the image of being a resort.
What do you make of it?
At the moment I am not too keen on it, the gold band around the outside seems unnecessary to me and the resort bit seems to make the logo look sad, or is that just me

I do not mind the new logo, but i feel the font used on the " resort " section should be the same as " alton towers "

Looks ok, not fussed really. Perhaps the same view as Ian but not to bothered by it.

Have to agree about the frown of the downward arc of the resort section. Not well thought of if you ask me. I would hope the resort bit wouldn't appear on the park logo itself and just appears on marketing for the whole place.
I think the biggest issue is whether you can call the place a resort. Is it not just a park with hotels that have an indoor swimming pool? I feel they need to add a second gate to become resort status.

If they turned the arc up,into a smile, then added a couple
big round ears.......

I thought the idea was to "Disney" up the place anyway. For example the plans for a "Disney Village" type shopping area near the hotals, another hotel and another access area.
