Just arrived in rainy Bolton too  Laughing

Love the front cover, makes note for next year. Must do SF Great Adventure.

Great edition as ever.

Got mine too - an unexpected but nice surprise.

Also a nice cover picture showing the truly magnificent El Toro, to date my favorite wooden coaster and of course the famous Kinda.

Well done the Oakwood charity riders!

Another superb read, and great write-ups by Rowan for the Koaster Krazy trip and Marcus for the Ravine Flyer II - which I can't wait to ride!
simon08

got mine this morning, I didnt even know the next issue was do
bradpeet

Got mine too - and read most of it.

As has been said, the cover shot is great.  Even got the train on the minetrail ride in the picture, nice touch.

And I love the 'hint' on the back page - Ravine Flyer II on club trip in 2009.  I'm sure it's going to be yet another amazing trip.

Talking of photographs - are the ones featured in AIRtime available to view on the web anywhere?  There are always some amazing shots, but they are so frustratingly small.
adey

got ours today in stockport. another great read.
Happy Helen

Got mine yesterday.

Another great read especially the Koaster Krazy trip.
reg

Got mine yesterday too, and was surprised to see both Kat and myself in the announcements, one for our (well, Kat's really) pregnancy, and one for my first solo glider flight! Many thanks to whoever was responsible.

For those who can get there. Took one look at Kinda Ka and said, no thank you  Shocked
I would do most coasters, but El Toro and KK I could not handle. This is why I don't do Hydro at Oakwood, I hate over steep drops, though I have no problems with Eurofighters, but hey I'm just weird.
frosty

So far I've been more than a little anxious about most rides I've met, particularly those with long and slow lifts, but I had no problem with El Toro and that amazing drop. For me the initial launch on rides such as KK and TTD is more scary than the rest of the ride.

I also had no problem with the drops on Phantom's revenge. In fact I found Phantom's Revenge to be a very pleasant ride. One of my favorite coasters.

Congratulations to the Charity Riders on Megafobia. What a great story. Well done. Best read ever.  Rolling Eyes

I finally got my Airtime, slow post in a village. I enjoyed it and the artical by Rowen made more memories of a great USA trip and makes me look forward to 2009.
USfriends

Hmmmm.....still waiting this side of the pond. Patiently.
USfriends

Still waiting...........
chillichutney

I could have delivered it to you quicker!! Laughing

Or posted it from within the same country.  Still would have been quicker!

Pete, when Airtime arrives it will be all the better for the wait. Just like having a couple of rollbacks ?
USfriends

Yea,  our Airtime arrived just in time to get us through the Megamania
weekend. Wishing we were there!!!!!!
Anyway, thanks for the honorable mention Rowan, even if it was in a
derogatory fashion.  Shocked A great article, and an incredible holiday.

Stay behind the yellow line for 2009!

Pete
