According to Screamscape S&S power are trying to build a new coaster take the fastest coaster record. According to the report on a german site the coaster is base on the Thrust Air concept but will use standard tubular steel and more standard trains. There is a picture on the German site of the trains.

From the sound of things it will be a low level layout but will do 135mph in 2.5 seconds. Now that is eye ball popping!

This rumour is a couple of years old but hopefully it will come to fruition at some point.

I also remember this being in a mag bout 3 or 4 years ago and then that when people started the rumour with Blackpool etc. All I know is that its a very bog standerd layout and compact. Blackpool yeah could be on the cards as there space etc but who knows. Would be nice. Blackpool do want the record back and its not all bout height long as they get some record back to get them back up there again.
