At least in 2005 it only rained during the morning ERS and the brightened up for the rest of the day.

I was hoping for dry conditions as it was going to be the first time I put up a tent and sleep in it!

In the past, if the weather is really bad up to and including fri-sat, do most people still attempt to camp or alternatively travel down on Saturday morning? What happens in the park itself if it's raining heavily most of the day, do they shut many of the attractions?

Ryan has a foolproof method of weather forcasting.
1) If the sheep's wool is dry it is going to rain
2) If the sheeps wool is wet it is raining
3) If the inside of his beer glass is dry the world has ended

I persoanlly wouldn't use the BBC Weather forecast. From experience I've found www.weather.co.uk far more accurate. So hopefully Aunite Muriels forecast will be the one you guys get.

Definately not coming to this one as off to work on a sporting event.

Well i'm glad i checked this, and will be prepared for the weather this time. I was totally not prepared in 2005 and got drenched. 5 minutes sitting on the Meggy Brake run waiting for the other train to load didn't help much either!

Ryan's plan is best i think - retreat to Bar for Bowling and Beer!

See you there, looking forward to it!

P.S. So glad I booked a nice warm Travel Tavern now i've seen the forecast  Laughing

Using Auntie Murial's link the weather forecast has picked up. Some sun on Friday with a bit of rain on Saturday.

I just got a text from a friend who's staying 8 miles from Oakwood and he says the weather is bad. He was hoping to go to the park today with his sister and her children but they called it off due to the amount of rain  Sad
