We aim to please
We are also working now on the best way of delivering daily USA 2009 trip reports as the trip progresses for all to enjoy and keep track of our progress. _________________ Matt

If Id've known that someone had a camera aimed at me whilst I was giving Darren a bit of a trim, then Id've made sure that I was facing it properly!
Incidentally - Looking at This photo from the ERS (474Kb) - Is it me, or did I become blessed with a truly Daemonic case of red-eye during the ERS?

A USA trip has far too much going on to ever fit in a single "big" report, but day-by-day weblogs posted via a laptop using Wi-Fi/GPRS would give us "digestable" reports to peruse at our leisure! _________________

And thats the plan
The daily trip blog (hopefully Ryan will do his excellent reports again) and place to add comments etc. will be on the club messageboard as in previous years, however, we are also going to attempt to do an offical trip report in a page per day format on the main website also, because as you say, a 2 week tour is too much for just a single page. Most hotels, and more importantly bars, provide free wi-fi in the USA, so it should be reasonably easy to do over a couple of pints in the evening.
That way, we are aiming to get ye a daily report, in manageable chunks. _________________ Matt

Couple of pints shouldn't that be a couple of pitchers!

We need to be able to see the keyboard!!
We are going to try and get the trip reports done daily, some of the work will be done on the coach, the rest in the bar then uploaded to the RCCGB server.

...Otherwise if we're not careful, Nev'll figure out why he's been having trouble with his digital television over the past few days! _________________
